OECD Global Forum on Technology The OECD Global Forum on Technology (GFTech) is attracting the world’s leading minds in technology and forward-thinking policymakers to explore and understand the opportunities and risks of cutting-edge technologies. Our mission is to foster inclusive, multi-stakeholder and values-based discussions on emerging technologies, in support of aligning their development and use with democratic principles and human rights. We facilitate strategic, evidence-based dialogue and international cooperation on key emerging technology policy issues. This informs and promotes principles and approaches based on shared values, identify and analyse technological developments with societal, economic, security and sustainability impacts, and explore policy challenges and opportunities posed by emerging technologies. The forum also promotes sharing good governance practices to build trust and foster coherent approaches based on mutual interests and democratic values.
