At Off Duty Rescue, we believe the fire and rescue heroes in our communities shouldn’t have to worry about how they’re going to put food on the table, keep a roof over their family’s head or pay for their child’s college education. We recognized very quickly that many EMS, law enforcement, military personnel, and veterans are in the same boat. So, it is our mission to connect communities with business services provided by off-duty heroes to increase their household incomes.
Off Duty Rescue can do this by addressing the problem in two ways:
1. The first is to directly hire off-duty heroes. We have identified several key services as having a high return on investment due to lower overhead. Our first division is an algae treatment service for residential and commercial roofs and external surfaces.
2. The second way will tap into an already existing business network that has grown out of the need to supplement income. A large percentage of firefighters and rescue workers own businesses. As we develop a platform for listing the companies owned by these community service heroes (and their spouses) we will open a doorway for the community to show their support to these families.
GIVING BACK
In addition to hiring heroes and helping their businesses, Off Duty Rescue uses a portion of our proceeds to give rescue equipment to the emergency teams in the communities where they serve, helping them save lives.
MISSION STATEMENT
Off Duty Rescue's mission is to connect communities with business services provided by off-duty firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, military personnel, and veterans. We do this to increase the household income of every community service hero and use a portion of the proceeds to give rescue equipment to local departments in the communities where they serve. We help them rescue more than just a roof, lawn, home project, or whatever problem their business solves. We help them live so they can save lives.
