About Development Academy of the Philippines (Official)
The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) is a government-owned and controlled corporation, established in 1973 through Presidential Decree (PD) 205 and later amended by PD 1061 and Executive Order (EO) 288, and transitioned into an attached agency of the National Economic and Development Authority in 2023 under EO 45. The DAP is the Philippines' National Productivity Organization (NO) and upholds the nation's commitment to the Asian Productivity Organization (APO), driving productivity enhancement across key economic sectors.
