PT Widya Sapta Colas Subsidiary COLAS, SA in Indonesia in year 1996 until 2015. The Colas Group is a leader in the construction and maintenance of road, air, rail and maritime transport infrastructure, urban development projects and recreational facilities. Backed by 70,000 employees and a network of 800 profit centers and 1,400 production units operating in 40 countries on five continents, the Group carries out more than 100,000 projects each year.

In 1982, Colas started business in Indonesia as a partner in a consortium of 3 companies with SPIE Batignolles and Campenon Bernard to work on the refection and the extension of the Jakarta airport (phase 1 and 2) until 1989.
In February 1990, PT. Waskita Colas (WASCO) was created as a result of a Joint venture between Colas SA (France) and PT. Waskita Karya (Indonesia) to carry out several big job sites.
In 1996, PT. Waskita Karya sold its shares to local partners. Since then the name of the Joint Venture was changed to PT. Widya Sapta Colas without changing the brand entity WASCO.
In January 2016 PT. Widya Sapta Colas has become a national company.
In January 2017 PT. Widya Sapta Colas change Name of Company become as PT WIDYA SAPTA CONTRACTOR.
