Shalamar Medical & Dental College

Shalamar Medical & Dental College (SMDC) falls under the umbrella of Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) and is ranked among the top tier medical colleges of Pakistan. In a short span of time, the college has garnered a reputation for providing quality education, maintaining a tradition of excellence and inculcating a passion of medicine within its student body. The college was completed in 2009 and was the third project of the Businessmen Hospital Trust (BHT), with the induction of the first batch of medical students formally enrolled in the 2009-10 academic session. From 100 students in the first year of admission, the enrollment has grown to 150 pupils each year.
