Offnet facilitates venue space bookings by allowing organisers to invite guests through the built in social network function and the split the booking deposit among attendees. Once enough guests confirm, the venue is able to confirm the booking and reserve the space. There is no money placed until demand for the space is proven by guest confirmations which both limits the risk of organisers losing the deposit and re-assures venues that they will get sufficient demand to justify the booking. By limiting organiser risk and securing demand for venues; Offnet looks to make venue bookings a more casual and frequent occurrence.
