OFLIC Consult

The Organization For Life Care (OFLIC) was founded as a development NGO in 2000 to focus on designing and implementing programs and projects that have a lasting positive impact on women and children. After a decade of navigating the hurdles of developing an NGO and project implementation amidst a growing global desire and pressure to make development more effective in improving people's lives, OFLIC started orienting its focus more on supporting other NGOs to better do their work. An entire division – OFLIC-Consult was thus created within the organization to carry on with this dream. OFLIC-Consult’s main objective is to create dramatic improvements in the performance of organizations and programs working to enhance the social and economic wellbeing of women and children within Africa. This ties perfectly with OFLIC’s mission. OFLIC-Consult’s unique approach-drawn from global "best practices" in managing positive social change—harnesses the participation, collective knowledge and commitment of diverse groups to accomplish measurable and enduring development results. OFLIC-Consult provides a full range of innovative management consulting, technical assistance and training services to strengthen development programs, organizations and policies. OFLIC-Consult works across sectors to reduce poverty; improve health, education and the lives of women and children; promote peace and democratic governance; strengthen civil society; foster economic growth, and protect the environment.
