Originally started in 2012 as Oh My! Me Studios, The Hand Dye Company began as a game development shop focused on making stop-motion felted wool video games and interactive media.
The materials have since expanded to include wood, metal, plastic, and clay, but the growing of natural dye plants and the dyeing of wool remains integral to the overall process.
Led by fiber artist Ken Amarit, The Hand Dye Company takes a deliberate approach to the craft of video games. Based in Brooklyn, New York City.
