The world is filled with so many lonely people. Many kids lose their family or age out of the system, many older people outlive their loved ones, and many people are breaking generational curses. Choosing not to accept people for who they are. Choosing to be alone vs staying quiet about their creepy uncle. At that very same time there's people like the guy doing dad talks on TikTok and people holding signs at events offering a hug from mom.
I think family can more than blood. I think people want support just not at the cost we've always accepted. Initially I wanted to build an app but to start i'm making a website that's compatible on all devices to help make and find families. We have dating sites and friendship sites, but would you add a person to your family if you could? Do you wish your family understood you more? Pick what you want in a family and make it happen.
Friendship is hard to maintain long term. Romantic partners connect and then become strangers again. But a group effort can last a lifetime.
