Nick O’Hara grew up in Ireland, where the lush landscape is unlike anywhere else in the world. When he moved to Massachusetts in 1980, images of ancient ruins and moss- and lichen-covered stones stayed with him. He found himself compelled to create beautiful and lasting structures and so founded O’Hara & Company.
For over twenty-five years, Nick and his team have provided exceptional design and construction service to its New England clientele. Anyone who knows Nick knows that only perfection is good enough for the man who has always tried to live by the words: “Build it beautifully, build it to last.”
O’Hara employs some of the region’s finest stonemasons and trains his skilled staff with ongoing classes during the winter months. He finds great joy in the fact that some of his apprentices have gone on to work for themselves, and continue to preserve the great art of masonry.
