Architecture is the art of creating space for habitation. Using the principles and elements of design and construction we design structures which define the places where people live, work and play.
It is a subtle difference to be sure from what people generally think of as the role of the architect. Most people we talk to think that we design and build buildings. That is part of it, but to look at it that way is to miss the essence of our expertise. We help you to analyze the patterns in which you want to live, work and play, and then we design spaces to promote those patterns in buildings that are beautiful, efficient and responsible.
The building is the instrument that we use to exercise our craft. Ours is not a building business, it is a people business.
