Association of Ohio Recyclers

The Association of Ohio Recyclers (AOR) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade association, founded in 1989, promoting waste reduction, reuse and recycling. AOR is nonpolitical and nonpartisan. AOR is comprised and governed by a Board of Directors elected by the AOR membership. The AOR Board is responsible for implementing a Strategic Plan to carry out the mission, vision, programs, projects and activities of AOR. AOR prides itself by promoting sustainable materials management practices incorporating waste reduction, reuse, recycling and composting of marketable materials before they enter the waste stream. Annually AOR brings members and like-minded individuals together for a professional conference to share best management practices, and an annual members meeting to discuss progress and engage in strategic planning.
