Mike has been involved in the construction industry for over 20 years with pre-construction, new construction and post-construction experience specializing in building enclosure and water intrusion. He is a veteran in the fields of Construction Defect Litigation, National Construction Risk Evaluations, Forensic evaluations and ASTM/AAMA testing, Project Management, and independent exterior building envelope and roofing/waterproofing consulting. Michael is a seasoned expert consultant for warranty and construction defects, specializing in exterior and interior investigations and analysis for litigation of dispute resolution, contracts performance analysis, claims and providing repair recommendations. Oikos Design specializes in construction defect litigation support and consulting services related to building envelope, roofing/waterproofing and fenestration assemblies in residential, multi-family, commercial, mid/hi-rise and industrial buildings; water intrusion and forensic inspection and property damage evaluation; providing monitor and owners representation for new and remedial repair projects to ensure building envelope/cladding, fenestration and roofing/waterproofing building assemblies are properly installed to manufacturer recommendations, code and approved drawings; ASTM/AAMA water testing and construction site risk audits and defect identification/analysis; home, property and business inspections for individuals, HOA and insurance purposes.
