Old Silhillians Hockey Club (OSHC) is one of the largest community hockey clubs in the Country. It is part of one of the largest multi-sports clubs in the country, with some of the best facilities. Thousands of people are members of the various clubs, and use the on-site clubhouse and multiple pitches on a weekly basis.
The Hockey Club is growing, and already offers hockey for a wide variety of ages, backgrounds and both Men's and Women's hockey. There are 11 teams playing on Saturdays (6 Men / 5 Women), 1 mid-week Veterans team, and 17 junior teams playing on Sundays.
The club has a mission to "Unite the Community through Sport" and whilst also increasing the availability of hockey to all, is also increasing the amount of work it does with the local community and local businesses. OSHC has strong charitable links, runs outreach into local schools, and is always looking for ways to support local businesses.
