TRU Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run, nonprofit animal rescue organization based in Phoenix, Maryland. We are dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, neglected, and at-risk animals — giving them the second chance they deserve. We specialize in rescuing dogs from overcrowded shelters, unsafe environments, and owner surrenders, with a focus on finding them loving, permanent homes. Our mission is driven by compassion, community support, and the belief that every animal matters. 🏡 We do not have a physical shelter — our rescues are placed in foster homes where they receive the individualized care they need. 💛 We believe in transparency, lifelong support for adopters, and the power of connection between animals and people.
