Old Brodleians Rugby Club

The "Old Brods" is a not-for-profit Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) dedicated to providing excellent facilities for rugby and promoting the sport's core values. There's a team at every age grade, including four girls teams, three senior men's teams and one ladies team. Over 375 girls and boys, from 3 years old, playing every week. Our brilliant volunteers - from our committee to our team managers - are committed to providing the very best for the membership and local area. We're extremely proud recipients of the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service (the equivalent of an MBE for volunteer groups) cited as “providing rugby for all ages and delivering huge benefits to their community”. We take our role in the community seriously and help with things locally as much as we can. Every summer we host the Brodstock Music Festival, one of Yorkshire's biggest benefit concerts which helps us financially over the off-season but, in complete collaboration with others, has also raised over £175,000 for local causes since it began in 2014. We have plenty of other events throughout the year plus affiliations through our Yorkshire Brodleians Netball Teams, our cycling club and our on-site gym 1Vigor Hipperholme. ~ family-friendly ~ a proud history ~ so much going on ~ constantly pushing forward ~ just a bunch of Brodleians
