Olive & Ada originated as a side hustle in 2017 where I could escape the pressures of corporate 9-5 and indulge in my love of all things craft and felt while developing my creative skill sets.
I started with stylish, nursing friendly necklaces and jewellery for all the amazing women in my life, who, (after having bubs) were often seen rocking leggings as pants, frequently covered in baby drool and struggling to feel like their fierce glam selves. Then, as I grew more confident wielding my trusty glue gun and found a quality supplier of the best merino felt around, I added felt flower headbands, hair clips, brooches and bookmarks to the product range.
6 months later my little passion project evolved into a real business as I booked weekend markets and joined forces with my gorgeous sister Jessica, who makes combining the duties of stay at home mum/dedicated Air Force wife with the demands of managing a small business look so easy.
As we took our business online we designed an extensive range of children's wall art, home and personalised prints that can also be purchased as instant downloads for you to print at home.
