About Oliver's Inn

The story of Oliver's Inn started in 1985 when Christer Ekman bought the legendary Elite. He had an idea to make a place where people who loved beer, good food and music enjoyed in a nice atmosphere, could meet. The whole restaurant was remade in an English/Irish pub style with warm colors and dark wood, mirrors and nice lighting. The reception was marvelous and the business has been prosperous ever since. “Time goes fast when you’re having fun” In 1998 Christers oldest son Robert took charge of the restaurant and made it work even better with young inspired new ideas. In 2009 the restaurant was completely rebuilt after a water damage and at the same time Oliver's switched owners. Roberts younger brother Jonathan and his friend Daniel Lytz are now running the restaurant with great inspiration. Oliver's Inn is a party place with a lot of different themes, such as DJ’s, live acts, theme nights, student parties, and gaming nights. Oliver's is also cooperating with the local student organisations in Vasa to make all their celebrations a big success. The biggest event every year is “Pampas Nationalfest” that lasts for nearly a week and gathers students from all over Finland. We are devoted to continue to work hard to make our already legendary restaurant live for ever more. See you at Oliver's Inn!
