The idea of Olivya Stone was seeded in 2017, out of a frustration with the experience provided by traditional luxury furniture retailers. Their prices were outrageous, service was poor, and lead times too long.
As we talked to designers, and meticulous clients we realized they had similar experiences, and we were amazed at how hard it was to purchase high-end designer furniture without leaving wallets bare. Where were the options?
It turns out there was a simple explanation. The furniture industry is dominated by middle-men, brick-and-mortar stores and showrooms with high fixed costs that are translated to the consumer keeping prices artificially high while reaping huge profits from consumers and designers who have no other options.
We decided to do something about it. We put together, the world's best craftsmen, engineers, furniture designers, and sourced the best materials, finishes, and carpenters to bring you the highest quality hand-crafted pieces to you direct-to-consumer.
