Ollie55 is a clothing line that offers scarves, sweaters and ties in vibrant and stylish designs. Originally founded in 2007, Peter Simmonds, the founder, had spent years learning the tricks of the trade in the fashion world with companies like Kenneth Cole and Nautica. Having always had the desire to start his own clothing line, Peter fulfilled his life long dream but found inspiration in the least likely of places. It was from the long walks he would go on with his two much beloved dogs, Ollie and George, as they would stroll under the lush greenery of the sycamore trees going from park to park. Having always looked forward to this daily routine, no matter the time of day, there was always a sense of adventure lurking around every corner. As they would embark on these adventures they were always excited to meet the next fascinating person and learn about their unique story. It was from these encounters with the vibrant people of Mill Valley and their canine companions that would later be the inspiration of Ollie55 with each sweater telling their own story.
To this day, Ollie55 has stayed true to it's core values of luxury clothing for dog owners and lovers alike. Just like how we call Mill Valley, California our home, Peter Simmonds still remains involved in Ollie55 as the company’s mentor. This past May he transferred the main operations to Peter Hamblett, who now operates Ollie55 with his business partner Andrew Eddington.
