Olmanyara Tilil, established in 2018, is a forward-thinking non-governmental organization committed to bridging the gap between the global response to climate change and local realities. We were founded during one of the most challenging periods in the Horn of Africa, a prolonged drought that took a devastating toll, claiming over 43,000 human lives, 8.9 million livestock, and countless wild animals. Our mission is deeply rooted in the need for localized solutions in climate adaptation and environmental regeneration. We recognize that true sustainability and resilience can only be achieved by tailoring global efforts to the unique circumstances of local communities.
