They live in Tulum, Mexico.
If they are not hangin’ out at the beach, they are eating tacos at the Badass Taco Shop and talking about life.
Meet the gang:
Oly is an awkward teenage boy who is energetic and fun, but a little lazy and easily distracted by all of the happenings in the world… just like the rest of us. He loves baseball, sunshine, swimming in the ocean, chillin’ on the beach, and his best friend Max the Monkey. He is a bit of a smartass, but he is genuine and loving at his core.
Max:
Max is not your average monkey and he is not a kid. He might be like 100 years old, but nobody is really sure. He’s been all around the world, has lots of life experience and is full of sage wisdom. He is kind of arrogant and doesn’t really like being bothered. He gets annoyed by people. He is usually either meditating or working on experiments… trying to come up with solutions to the world’s problems… OR hanging out with his friend Pepe the Parrot at their favorite Taco Shop, Badass Tacos!
Maya:
Maya is mostly a girly girl. Cute, smart, and fun, with a good style sense, but she also loves to put jeans and t-shirt on and get dirty
She also has a crush on Oly, but Oly is too immature and distracted to know what to do about it or how to handle it. She is always kinda flirting with Oly, but never really getting anywhere. She loves Salsa dancing, the beach, baseball and tacos.
Pepe is Max’s sidekick and the quintessential party animal parrot… sunglasses, the beach, pina colada, and who knows what else he is up to. Seems he is a bit of a stoner… He is always telling dirty jokes and is a total smartass.
He is retired from his job as a rocket scientist, so he is really smart, but doesn’t use his intelligence much, and when he isn’t hungover, he helps Max with different things.
