Omar Samra

Father, serial entrepreneur, keynote speaker, UN goodwill ambassador, the first Egyptian and one of less than 40 people in history to complete the Explorer’s Grand Slam (skiing to north and south pole + climbing Everest & 7 Summits). Made 3 first ascents in Antarctica and got to name those mountains. Rowed 1000km across the Atlantic before capsizing and having the life raft not open in a storm. The survival story is now a Netflix documentary and played in Cannes Film Festival. I spend most of my time speaking and advocating for following one's heart, an alternative education model, climate change and equality. I run a children's charity in my late wife's honor. My biggest dream is to go to space.
