According to the International Finance Corporation (IFC), corporate governance practices are still insufficiently known and poorly implemented in some West African countries. Few companies in the region implement good corporate governance practices. Adoption of good corporate governance practices can help companies enhance operational and financial performance, mitigate risk, and safeguard against mismanagement. Also, it can help companies attract new investments and capital to finance their growth.

Our founder, Victor Banjo, is an experienced human resources director, corporate governance trainer, board advisor and business executive with over twenty five years’ experience in the private sector (FMCG, Aviation, Banking, Maritime) and not-for-profit sector. He is accredited by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as a Trainer for the Corporate Governance Board Leadership and Building Director Training Organisations toolkits.
He served as Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Directors Nigeria, member of the Governing Board of the IoD Centre for Corporate Governance and member of the Executive Committee of the African Corporate Governance Network (ACGN) from May 2014 to October 2016. His work experience covers Nigeria, Cameroun, Ghana, Gambia, Senegal, United Kingdom, Sao Tome and South Africa.
