Omega Veterinary Group is the Bay Area’s only dedicated pet ICU. Owned by experienced and renowned criticalist, Dorrie Black, DVM, MPVM, DACVECC, and led by Dr. Black with a team of critical care specialists and emergency veterinarians, Omega’s primary focus is critical care, with support from other specialties such as surgery and radiology. The medical center is home to a state-of-the-art ICU, providing extracorporeal therapies, endoscopy, ultrasound, and top-level ventilation and respiratory support. Omega will soon expand its team and its services to include more specialties such as internal medicine, advanced orthopedic surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, and ophthalmology.
Located in beautiful San Mateo, California just outside of San Francisco, Omega's vision is to be the only veterinary center in the area to serve the most critically ill patients and those needing advanced care.
