OMEP WORLD

The OMEP, Organisation Mondiale pour l'Education Préscolaire / World Organisation for Early Childhood Education, is an NGO founded in 1948 operating in 67 countries that works to defend Human Rights of girls and boys since they are born until they are eight years of age (Early childhood). OMEP advocates for early childhood education and care as a right and a tool to attain other rights: integral development, citizenship, wellbeing, and dignity for all the girls and boys in the world. OMEP has SPECIAL CONSULTATIVE STATUS in the United Nations System /ECOSOC. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- La OMEP, Organisation Mondiale pour l'Education Préscolaire / Organización Mundial para la Educación Preescolar, es una ONG fundada en 1948 que opera en 67 países que trabaja para defender los Derechos Humanos de niñas y niños desde que nacen hasta los ocho años de edad ( NIñez temprana). OMEP aboga por la educación y el cuidado de la primera infancia como un derecho y una herramienta para lograr otros derechos: desarrollo integral, ciudadanía, bienestar y dignidad para todas las niñas y niños del mundo. OMEP tiene ESTADO CONSULTIVO ESPECIAL en el Sistema de Naciones Unidas / ECOSOC.
