OMNI DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is a not-for-profit community development corporation (CDC) charged with the revitalization of neighborhoods through the construction of residential and commercial real estate. Omni’s mission is to provide affordable housing for low-to-moderate income families. Omni has created over 2,200 units of affordable housing through 20 developments within Rhode Island, Massachusetts. It is now expanding its market area to include Connecticut. As a Rhode Island-based developer of affordable housing, Omni has created a recipe for success. Drawing on its extensive experience, Omni is able to help local cities and towns, community action groups, and housing finance agencies to develop and rehabilitate critically needed affordable housing for economically disadvantaged families with low-to-moderate incomes, the elderly, the disabled, and chronically homeless veterans.
