The sucessor to RTG-Aero in what concerns Space operations, Omnidea-RTG GmbH continues the work in Space chemical propulsion, for both hydrazine and cold gas systems. The company is involved in both component production and development but also in Manufacturing, Assembly, INtegration and Testing (MAIT) activities on complete spacecraft sub-systems such as AOCS.
Its portfolio of ESA qualified products includes Ball Latch Valves, Oxygen isolation valves, fill and vent valves as well as transition joints for Space usage for multiple sizes and different material combinations (Ti-to SS and Al-to-SS). Near-qualification components include pressure regulators, hydrazine filters and fill and drain valves.
The past record of the company in terms of spacecraft sub-system MAIT includes projects such as CHAMP (DLR/NASA), GRACE (ADS/DLR/NASA) SAR-Lupe (DLR/Bundeswehr/OHB), Sentinel-3 (TAS/ESA/Copernicus), Formosat-5 (Spacetech/NSPO) and EnMAP(DLR/OHB).
