Omnitex Industries first commenced trading in 1948 from a small warehouse in Richmond, Victoria. In the 60's it was relocated to East Hawthorn where it remained for more than 40 years. Spread out over several warehouses, the business enjoyed great success supplying large and small customers alike with satin ribbon products in a multitude of fashionable colours. Major customers include those within the floral, equine and printing industries with many other industries making up the loyal customer base established over many years. In October 2017, Omnitex Industries relocated to Hallam. The move to new premises, with good access to the Monash Freeway, allowed the business to set up a deliberately designed facility that works well for staff and management, that allows for a smooth "flow" and that improves productivity outcomes. Omnitex Industries is now and always has been a wholly Australian owned company seling to the wholesalers across Australia and we take great pride in this.
