The On The Record memorial will be a striking, poignant and enduring tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of all UK-based reporting teams who gather news from conflict zones. Proposed for the National Memorial Arboretum, On The Record will stand alongside over 420 memorials to those who have served and sacrificed at the Nation's year-round place to Remember.
The On The Record memorial will be complemented by a Digital Tribute, an online database created and hosted by Press Gazette, to help tell the stories of these reporters, preserving their legacy and ensuring their own achievements and experiences are put ‘on the record’ in perpetuity.
