Het OncoCare Centrum is een multidisciplinair samenwerkingsverband in de eerste lijn waar de optimale zorg voor oncologie patiënten centraal staat. Alle deelnemende disciplines hebben scholing en/of affiniteit in de onologie waardoor zij kunnen zorgen voor complete zorg, zoveel mogelijk onder 1 dak.
Het zorgaanbod van het OncoCare Centrum richt zich op alle functionele-, fysieke-, psychische- en sociale problemen die zijn verbonden aan kanker. Dit aanbod betreft de zorg en nazorg tijdens alle fasen van het oncologische behandel- en hersteltraject, inclusief de palliatieve- en terminale fase.
Het OncoCare Centrum helpt (ex-)kankerpatiënten om de behandeling en gevolgen van de ziekte en behandeling te doorstaan. De kwaliteit van leven wordt hierdoor verbeterd, evenals de mogelijkheid tot deelname aan het arbeidsproces en de samenleving.
