One Billion Trees Foundation

1. The purpose of this organization is to plant one billion trees around the world by 2035 through collaborating with governments, businesses, international organizations, environmentalists, and private individuals. This will slow down global warming, provide shelter for other animals, and contribute to the globalization of environmental efforts. 2. One Billion Trees will acquire land in different countries and use this land for afforestation. In special cases, we shall welcome donations of land from governments and communities to further our cause. 3. To solidify our efforts, we shall use a multi-dimensional approach that will include local communities at the centre of our projects through supporting the neighbours of the private One Billion Trees Foundation forests to acquire alternative forms of energy other than charcoal and firewood. 4. True to the above purpose of One Billion Trees Foundation, the organization shall uphold and use the motto, “Planting For Future Generations”. All activities of this organization must be directed toward this purpose.
