One Desire Foundation

One Desire Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease. Founded by a sickle cell warrior with a deep personal understanding of the challenges and triumphs of living with the condition, One Desire Foundation is committed to raising awareness, providing education, and offering compassionate care. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those living with sickle cell disease in Ghana and beyond. We focus on three key pillars: advocacy, health education, and supportive services. Through community outreach, awareness campaigns, and partnerships with healthcare professionals, we aim to break the stigma around sickle cell disease, empower individuals with knowledge, and promote early diagnosis and proper management. At One Desire Foundation, our vision is a world where every person affected by sickle cell disease can live a healthy, fulfilling life. Together, we strive to make this vision a reality, one life at a time.
