One in Five's mission is to change that. We believe in research to understand causes and find cures.
Since 2004, we have been investing in research projects that are starting to unlock WHY people are developing mental illnesses. With more funding for research we can find better treatments and preventions for complex illnesses such as Schizophrenia and BiPolar.
Through research it will be possible to transform the face of mental illness. We care about finding cures, but to find answers we need to fund early stage novel projects in order to make it possible to rethink mental illness and lead us towards personalised treatments and care.
