One Step Forward Foundation

Prayogshala, the flagship program of One Step Forward Foundation (OSFF) is designed to provide students with access to labs, trained mentors and broad opportunities in science. At Prayogshala, students are encouraged to question, hypothesize and constantly validate those hypotheses through experiments. Prayogshala took the responsibility of bringing science alive in the classrooms itself by providing three key inputs to schools that are- facility, faculty and opportunity for students The project aims to develop a specific set of scientific skills amongst the students utilizing an experiential learning model. The key features of our program are: • Grade-specific experiments aligned to in-school curriculum • Working with existing school infrastructure and processes • Benchmarking our curriculum with local and global competitions, scholarships etc. • NCERT mapped ready to use content for teachers While the program is routinely customized to suit the needs of the institution as well as children, it is directed towards our vision of ‘building scientific temper in student
