ONECCA Cameroun

L’Ordre National des Experts-Comptables du Cameroun (ONECCA) a été créé en 1985, par la Loi N° 85/11 du 11 décembre 1985. Placée sous la tutelle du Ministère des Finances, l’ONECCA est un mandataire de l’Etat dont la mission exclusive est la gestion des professionnels libéraux de la comptabilité, au Cameroun. La loi n°2011/009 du 06 mai 2011 qui a remplacé la loi précitée de 1985 est sans équivoque, au sujet du droit à l’exercice de cette profession au Cameroun : « nul ne peut exercer la profession d’expert-comptable, s’il n’est pas préalablement inscrit au tableau de l’Ordre National des Experts – Comptables du Cameroun ». The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Cameroon (ONECCA) was created in 1985 by Law No. 85/11 of 11 December 1985. Placed under the tutorship of the Ministry of Finance, ONECCA is an agent of the State whose exclusive assignment is the management of Professional accounting professionals in Cameroon. Law no. 2011/009 of 06 May 2011 which replaced the aforementioned Law of 1985 is unequivocal, regarding the right to exercise this profession in Cameroon : "nobody is allowed to practise the profession of public accountant unless he is previously registered in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Cameroon.
