One House was founded on a promise to deliver high quality modern, timeless furniture at competitive prices. Inspired by Dutch Design, made in Germany. The founders Jan-Willem & Katharina have always been consistent and strong advocate for responsibly made furniture, hence their continuous push for local material sourcing, short supply chains and a small ecological footprint. Producing furniture with high quality, a modern design and a fair price isn’t always easy in Germany but by cutting marketplaces and retailers out of the customer sales journey made it possible. This focus on environmental impact paired with German craftsmanship and Amsterdam influenced design have struck a chord with customers across Europe. The two founders continue partnering with carefully selected manufacturers in Germany where their entire collection is made and shipped directly to the end customers across Europe.
