In December of 2022, the internationally recognized DJ and producer HEDEGAARD entered into a groundbreaking partnership with the world’s leading EDM label Spinnin’ Records. As the first Nordic artist, HEDEGAARD has established his own sublabel, OneHundred, under the EDM giant. As the only label in the world, OneHundred is specialized in the club genre known as ‘car music’ – a sound invented by HEDEGAARD, which most club kids from the 2010’s will recognize from HEDEGAARD’s commercial breakthrough – the unofficial remix of the classic Dr. Dre track “Next Episode”, which has several hundred million views on YouTube. The genre has become a global phenomenon, and other artists have adopted HEDEGAARD’s invention – the bass-driven and heavy club sound, which is produced at a lower tempo than regular club music. Besides HEDEGAARD, OneHundred represents some of the most promising car music artists – including Matt Hawk, CANCUN?, and Rikke Darling.
