Biomass cookstoves have been designed and constructed in a manner in which biomass such as wood is used for fire purposes for heating, boiling, cooking, etc.; however, the carbon and smoke emissions are lesser by up to 50% and wood consumption by 70%, as compared to conventional open wood burning.
