Postgraduate students and academics have increased needs for peer support, networking, sharing and receiving information, making their profiles and work visible to others as well as accessing opportunities, goods and services that are relevant to their work or studies. OneUni is a one-stop digital space for students and academics that is highly customizable and is perceived by the user as a hybrid, personal and professional on-line network. OneUni is also a global market. Our mission is to create global networking opportunities as well as opportunities for personal and professional development for people and industries operating in the wider education sector. We enable global knowledge exchange and networking. We improve access to services/products for all individuals and industries related to academia. We work with all academic and other related communities to support their vision for growth. Students and academics already use several avenues to meet their communication and networking needs from face-to- face supervisory meetings and workshops to on-line forums and Internet websites. However, there is currently lack of a single on-line space that can be customized by the user and that provides postgraduate students and academics with solutions to their multiple unmet needs. OneUni is a highly customizable and flexible platform designed to accommodate the products of several industries/clients, as incorporated entities of the user experience.
