Onion Athens is a place, where learning to cook traditional Greek recipes is approached differently: where the focus is on learning by doing, using what you have, what’s in season; most importantly, by following true, traditional recipes the exact way we were taught by our Greek mothers and grandmothers.
We offer a truly hands-on cooking experience combined with a fun dinner party environment. Just like getting an invitation from a local Greek friend!

Onion Athens space has been designed with care to feel more like a home than a cooking school. A classic appartement, on the fourth floor of a renovated 1930’s Athenian building, the studio creates an inspiring, welcoming and warm environment, perfect to cook and dine but also to host all kinds of events.
Onion Athens is the ideal venue for private events. Be it a baby shower, an intimate celebration, elegant dinner party, private cooking class, birthdays, anniversary parties, bridal showers, we can’t think of a more connected place to host you and your guests.
Onion Athens offers full service on-site private dining event services, working as a creative partner with our guests who are utilising the space for corporate off-sites, launch parties, celebrations, photo shoots, or anything in between. We will help you customize the event to create a unique social and culinary experience for all involved.Our Culinary team has developed menus for breakfast, lunch, cocktail parties, seated dinners and private cooking events.
Onion Athens can accommodate up to 20 guests for standing and up to 10 guests for seated events.
Onion Athens is the perfect venue for entrepreneurs and chefs looking to create a pop up event or host a tasting menu. This includes full use of the studio dining room and kitchen, built out with a combination of professional and home equipment.
