Observatório Nacional da Luta Contra a Pobreza

The National Observatory of the Fight Against Poverty (Observatório Nacional da Luta Contra a Pobreza - ONLCP) aims to be a national reference in the production of knowledge and recommendations on the fight against poverty and social exclusion, as well as to promote public policies and territorial interventions oriented in a strategic, articulated and effective way . The National Observatory's mission is to permanently observe the phenomenon of poverty and social exclusion in Portuguese society, taking into account not only its diverse manifestations and effects in the different spheres of social life, but also the processes of reproduction that underlie it, without ceasing to critically examine strategies to fight for their eradication and their impacts.
