About Only the Human

Only the Human is Perth's Comedy Community. We perform and teach improvised comedy in Perth and WA. At Only the Human, we used improvised comedy to make culture making accessible to everyone. Improvisation has been described as "America's most popular art form." It's a form of performance unique and well-suited to our times: Collaborative, social, messy, and breaking down conventional divides between actors and audiences. Improvisation is democracy in action. Our performers and students are taught how to be more empathic, fearless and flexible - skills that enable them to thrive on stage and in life. We run public and corporate workshops, social events and public performances.
