IoT Baseplate is a Lower Austrian tech start-up. We work in the AirportCity Space at Vienna Airport and in our City Office in Vienna’s city centre. The IoT module system we developed based on the proven K1 baseplate is internationally unique, protected by two patents and a multiple award winner. This makes us a worldwide pioneer for portable IoT module systems perfectly integrated into the existing infrastructure in road traffic. In terms of organisation, we rely on a lean corporate structure combined with strong strategic cooperation partners from IT, industry and science.
IoT Baseplate has been supported since the preseed phase by the province of Lower Austria and its ToughTech Incubator ACCENT and is funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency FFG, the province of Lower Austria, WKNÖ TIP and Austria Wirtschaftsservice aws.
