Ontgroei is de Nederlandse tak van de internationale degrowth-beweging. Deze beweging is internationaal al een tijd lang actief, vooral sinds de eerste grote degrowth conferentie in Parijs in 2008.
Het Nederlandse Ontgroei-Platform werd opgericht in 2019. Het is open voor iedereen die interesse heeft in de Ontgroei-beweging. Onze ambities zijn:
Te voorzien in een online ontmoetingsplaats waar individuen en organisaties die bezig zijn met Ontgroei-gerelateerde activiteiten hun inzichten kunnen delen. We verwelkomen opiniestukken, besprekingen en andere input die tot nadenken aanzetten.
Om mensen fysiek samen te brengen voor discussies rond Ontgroei. We willen dat doen via evenementen zoals de Global Degrowth Day of bijeenkomsten.
Een netwerk op te zetten van aan Ontgroei gerelateerde praktijken in Nederland.
Om wetenschap en maatschappelijke organisaties dichter bij elkaar te brengen.

Degrowth is the Dutch branch of the international degrowth movement. This movement has been active internationally for some time, especially since the first major degrowth conference in Paris in 2008.
