Using Computer Vision and Proprietary Algorithms, Ari turns the single 2D camera on any device into an accurate gesture recognition device. We purposely built Ari on Google Glass first to put the constraints of limited CPU and battery power on ourselves. The results- we have the fastest, lightest, and most accurate mobile gesture recognition software.
Gesture recognition technology has been around for decades, but only recently, with smartphones leading the way, have mobile devices become a viable candidate for this older, computationally heavy, technology. The form factor for this technology is here (wearable and connected devices) and we've taken a fresh approach to create Ari by focusing on 'on the go' verticals.
