O. O. Olowokure & Co., is a firm of Legal Practitioners headed by a Principal Partner – Olumuyiwa Olowokure a Legal Practitioner of 31 years post qualification experience. ‘Muyiwa Olowokure' has been actively engaged with the ‘development sector’ since 1993. He has worked in a private Legal advisory and consultancy capacity with Department for International Development (DFID) Nigeria and a number of DFID and USAID funded projects/organisations with offices all over Nigeria. Presently, Four DFID funded projects, Save the Children International., Oxfam GB/Novib, Sight Savers (UK), Heinrich Boll Foundation (Germany), Catholic Relief Services (US), Norwegian Refugee Council, Danish Refugee Council, International Medical Corps, International Rescue Committee, CARE International and Action Against Hunger (ACF) are among some of the organisations that pay an annual retainer fee to retain our firm as their exclusive Nigerian based lawyers on an annual basis. DFID Nigeria has continued to utilise our services on a regular basis since 2001. We are also extremely conversant with the workings and intricacies of the Ministry of Budget and National Planning (Formerly National Planning Commission), this gives us an unparalleled advantage over other law firms to give you quality service. We are also familiar with Donor-Implementing/Managing Agent relationships and the implications of this relationship on the legal status, rights and obligations of our Clients. Although we prefer working out of Kaduna (less than 2 hours drive from Abuja) our large Abuja based Clientele requires us to be frequently present in Abuja on a regular basis without any additional cost to our Abuja based Clients. In cases of emergency or for expediency we can call on our associates based in Abuja, Maiduguri, Kano, Jos, Lagos, Ibadan, Makurdi, Enugu and Port-Harcourt. This enables us to serve your needs in any part of the country.
