Oombo is a modern safety equipment company that has a dedicated focus on safety management. Our mission is to develop advanced emergency response equipment to protect the lives of those who support us. In doing this, Oombo efforts extend beyond the people we help directly to the community they serve. We have designed the world's first modular, electronic emergency management device - the Castor Beacon - and it is positioned to compete in the traffic safety market. The Castor Beacon is safe for workers due to its eco-friendly ultra-bright LEDs that can caution civilians and motorists from an eye-opening 1 km away. Castor is equipped with high-grade ABS housing that offers IPX6 waterproof protection and can withstand daily wear and tear in hazardous environments. The simple Twist & Drop interface allows users to deploy the device at the speed of any hazard or situation - the time required to secure the scene is drastically reduced; allowing the worker to quickly focus on the task at hand. The Castor is also powered by four D-cell batteries that provide the user with a long-lasting 36 hours of usage on the solid light setting and 70 hours on strobe light settings.
