Disc Stakka is an automated carousel that stores, protects and retrieves all your 12 cm discs, including data CDs, DVDs, music and game discs. Perfect for businesses, studios and home use, Disc Stakka means you’ll never waste time searching for a disc again, or have to worry about lost or damaged discs. The bundled OpdiTracker software enables you to find and eject any disc within seconds. Each Disc Stakka unit holds up to 100 discs, and links to your computer via a single USB connection that supplies both power and data. Built-in connectors allow you to stack units five high to create a tower that holds 500 discs without needing additional cables or desk space. You won’t even need to reboot your computer. Up to 127 of these towers can be linked via powered USB hubs to store, manage and protect as many as 63,500 discs – all from the one computer. Disc Stakka comes equipped with the intuitive OpdiTracker database and search engine. Whenever you insert a new disc into your computer CD or DVD drive, OpdiTracker automatically recognises it and gives you the option to add its name and file structure to the data base. You can then store your disc in Disc Stakka, knowing that when you need it again, a simple search will retrieve it. OpdiTracker comes with a password protection system that enables you to control access to your entire disc library. The system also allows you to record the name of whoever borrows a disc, so you will always know who has it. You can even search on an individual’s name for a complete list of the discs they have borrowed. Optional OpdiTracker Pro software further enhances Disc Stakka’s functionality and ease of use by adding extra search criteria, password protection for individual discs, and onscreen reminders whenever a borrowed disc is due to be returned.
