Open Arms exists as a group of volunteers who run every aspect of our organization in Seoul, Korea; from planning and delivering our English programs according to our mission and vision, to administering and fundraising for the group to provide the internal structure and materials we need.
We partner with welfare homes in Seoul who appreciate our input into the lives of the children they care for, and we cooperate closely with them.
We welcome the support of like-minded individuals and organizations who wish to improve the future for abandoned children.
Our Mission:
Guided by the belief that all children have equal value, Open Arms provides personalized English education to abandoned children in South Korean welfare homes. Our strong community of support empowers them to realize their self-worth and reach their potential socially, emotionally and academically. In addition to a personalized program throughout their childhood, our dedicated team of diverse volunteers attempt to link the children to a more global world view.
